PEDAL TRACTOR PULL
Registration begins at 10:30am
Pull starts at 11:30 a.m. in the White Exhibition Building
Class will be as follows:
Class 1—30 to 40 pounds
Class 2—41 to 50 pounds
Class 3—51 to 65 pounds
Class 4—66 to 85 pounds
Both girls and boys are eligible to enter (age limit 12 years,
weight range 30 to 85 pounds)
KIDS CONTESTS—Saturday, July 20th
The following events will all be held in the hospitality tent
1. Registration will be between 12:00-12:30 for all of the
following events
2. Events will begin at 12:30 and run in the order listed
below.
3. Ribbons and carnival tickets will be awarded to the first
three places in each designated age group for each event.
CUTEST LITTLE FARMER CONTEST
1. Age Groups listed below:
GIRLS BOYS
2-4 years olds 2-4 years olds
5-7 year olds 5-7 year olds
8-10 year olds 8-10 year olds
2. Contestants will be judged on neatness, creativity and
overall effect.
3. There will be 10 possible points for all three categories in
the judging, totaling 30 possible points overall.
4. Contestants may bring one object that will accent his/her
costume.
5. There will be no live animals allowed.
PONYTAIL CONTEST
1. Age Groups listed below:
2 years and under
3-5 year olds
6-8 year olds
9-11 year olds
12-14 year olds
2. A ponytail is one, either braided or not. Pigtails will not
be judged.
5. Length of hair will be the chief factor in judging and will
be measured from the base (rubber band) of the ponytail
to the end of the longest hair.
6. In case of a tie for first place or overall winner, it will be
judges pick.
FAIR – THEMED, DECORATED T-SHIRT CONTEST
1. Event is co-ed with age groups listed below:
2-4 year olds
5-7 year olds
8-10 year olds
11-13 year olds
1. T-shirts are to be completed prior to the event and worn by
the participant for judging and display.
2. Theme for the t-shirt is The Menard County Fair, which is
open to interpretation.
3. T-shirts will be judged on originality, creativity, and overall
effect.
4. All t-shirts must be decorated by hand. Items can be added
to the t-shirt with the use of glue, pins, hand sewing,
etc. No sewing or embroidery machines, and no screenprinting
allowed.
5. Child must participate in the decorating of the t-shirt, but
adults are able to assist.
DECORATED DIAPER CONTEST
1. All babies must be under the age of 18 months.
2. All babies must be in decorated diaper attire, disposable or
cloth. You may design a costume to coordinate with the
diaper but the diaper must be visible for judging.
3. Diapers will be judged on originality, creativity, and overall
effect.
