6th Annual Fair Banquet
February 25, 2012 6:00 p.m.

The 6th Annual Menard County Fair Banquet will be held on February 25, 2012 at the Hill Prairie Winery near Oakford. The annual dinner was established in 2007 as one way of raising the much needed revenue required to cover the increasing costs of operating the fair. The Menard County Fair has a rich tradition in Menard County, but with increasing costs and decreasing funds from the State of Illinois the Fair Board feels very fortunate for the support of the community at this annual banquet. There are 140 tickets to be sold for the event, which includes a prime rib and chicken breast dinner, entertainment and a drawing for cash prizes. Tickets for the dinner can be purchased from the following fair board members: Steve Allen, Katie Brown, Judy Greenhalgh, Bruce Harmening, Ben Hollis, Shirley McCombs, Jim Miller, Windell Milner, Tom Ostermeier, Roger Reimer, Edwin Ruppel, Jeff Sampson, Cheri Schimm, Christopher Schirding and Mark Stewart.
